Born in Kyiv, Ukraine, in 1998, Andreas Levenko was introduced to table tennis at a young age by his father, a former professional player. Under his father’s guidance at the Werner Schlager Academy, Levenko quickly rose to become a top European junior player. After acquiring Austrian citizenship, he participated in numerous European Youth Championships, winning medals at various age levels. He made his senior World Championships debut shortly after and was part of the team that finished fifth in 2018. In 2019, Levenko reached the pinnacle of junior table tennis, topping the U21 world rankings. At club level, he has achieved significant success, winning multiple Austrian league titles and reaching finals in European competitions. Levenko’s first WTT tournament victory came in Antalya, Turkey, in 2023. Linz will mark his fourth appearance at the individual European Championships.
